Me & My Nikon
Over the last couple of months I've been taking a digital photography class in the FIT Pre College Program. Since getting a new Nikon D3100 for my birthday in August I have become really interested in photography and decided to try it out. I've learn to really love and enjoy it. My last class is next weekend, but my portfolio was due a couple of days ago and here were a few of the shots I took that made the cut. A lot of the shots are from field trips around NYC with my class while some of them I took in my hometown and surrounding neighborhoods.
For my final project where we got to pick whatever theme or type of shoot we wanted I got to use my schools studio to shoot my friends. My final project was inspired by Avant-garde headwear, and was meant to be less fashion forward and represent more costume design which has become very popular lately.
