I'm not sure what it is about Anna's, but an exquisite sense of style certainly comes with the two-syllable territory.  The list of Anna's never fail to include Anna Wintour, Anna Dello Russo, and most importantly, the big A-Anna Piaggi-who at the age of 81 passed away earlier this week.  I've been on vacation so I've just received the news, and I'm certainly saddened by the tremendous lost in the fashion industry.  I don't know much about Piaggi's personal life, and truthfully I never knew what she did in the industry.  However I began to recognized Piaggi from photos, always matching the name with the face as shots of her popped up on my Tumblr timeline and on street style blogs worldwide.  I remember Piaggi best for her extravagant style that I would describe as eclectic and as personal as one's style can get.  Anna Piaggi was Fashion's most popular canvas; painting herself with patterns, silks, and couture.  You can sketch figure and add a design, but only Anna Piaggi could bring that figure to life.  Anna Piaggi you will truly be missed.
